Personally not fussed if rankings are there or not, I just enjoy the puzzles. And occasional banter, albeit a bit sanitised.

Not understanding the discussion regarding ranking not working, because it seems to be working fine for me. Though Im having all sorts of issues with Babble actually with Babble Expert since the server change.

The easiest way to check whether the ranking system is working is to make a note of your total score to date and observe whether it is different tomorrow, assuming you complete todays puzzle. For example, for everyone in the Elite group, their total score to date right now is 14353, at least that is what I am seeing. Todays puzzle is a Medium, worth 2 points, and so tomorrow their total score to date should be 14355.
